o Brian – explanation of Water updates and
dept. work, some important updates to pumping stations done and being watched
for continued acceptable data levels, SPPNA brought up further concerns about
sewage smells since the updates were made and the need for possible individual
and general updates to an old system, Cheryl requested possibility of meeting
with some of the neighborhood on the issue as a way to get SPPNA involved then
being able to take the issue to the Commissioners for resolution, they will
continue monitoring and passing reports to SPPNA, Brian can be contacted through the city
o Jamie – explanation of Public Works and
current projects, question from SPPNA as to timing
of 15th Ave work completion and why resurfacing 14th Ave
between Palmway & Lakeside, Jamie will get answers to Cheryl, per Jamie
recycling is collected and recycled despite the rumors, Jamie will get answers
regarding recycling to us, Lakeside flooding brought up and should be addressed
based on the current upgrade projects, still concerns about flooding with rain
outside of King Tide, if not drained within 2 hours notify the city, trash
concern being sited at places like 1402 S Federal, road issue on Federal Hwy
can be reported to Public Works who will notify the State, can also handle
