I.          Call to order

March Board and General Meeting Minutes reviewed and accepted with one minor date correction in the March Board Minutes

VI.       Committees:

Social Committee:  Nathalie Makepeace
      Spring Fling, Full Moon Social, Kid’s Movie Night – April 20th
Start time – 5pm, Easter Egg Hunt – 5:15pm
Volunteers needed for games and egg hiding by 4pm
Food will be Potluck
Chocolate can be used for eggs, prizes in eggs and golden eggs
Budget up to $100
Bob will mark off the area
      Movie Night – going forward more adult features, May movie night will be the last for the summer
      Larger Event Planning
Frühling (Spring) Fest discussed
Open to all, ticket sales, Beer and Food Truck, music, etc. 
Committee needed, Natalie will lead and report next month
Need event insurance (approx. $90)
Sign up sheets will be available at the next general meeting
Need portable bathrooms and tents
Might need security
Advertised through NAPC
Concerns about calling more attention to our park was discussed


CommunicationsTed Johnson
      Need meeting with Ted on the Website and hosted site for email, group texting or FB messenger, etc. – need price if going to change format
      Newsletter:  Chris Diserio - 2nd draft was not received by all
      Request for Shari to send out Contact List to full Board – Block Directors will validate addresses with neighbors and promote membership (use bottom of Agenda Flyer to gather info)

Block Director Updates
      General information about homes being sold discussed
      Of note:
Car in front of park gone now, owner picked up car with story but no good explanation
Park issues discussed – Ken taking pictures of dogs roaming unmonitored - complaint to Lauren from Cheryl - requested signs again, squirrel feeding needs to stop, people sleeping in back of houses off park – add locks on gates, voices at neighbor next to Linda – Bob sees white jeep – 1100 block director can check on this
Prostitute p/u now on 1100 block – call Sheriff
Corner of 15th and Palmway – police presence noticed there and Federal
Stray cats – shelters notified, neighborhood can help with trapping
Watch for unmarked trucks in the neighborhood - contact the Sheriff

Park Signs:  Patrick Keith
      Size change to 16” x 34” in order to have a larger viewable space, still within budget
      Purchase made, city will install
      Cheryl will speak to Lauren

      Guest Speaker – Lauren Bennett, April General Meeting
New speaker from Leisure Services regarding Parks and Rec2Go (flyer to be sent), plantings will be discussed for park and median
