Candidate’s Forum Committee: Louis Makepeace
● At Feb 11 General Meeting – social hour start 6:00, meeting start 6:45, forum start 7:05
● Will finalize questions by Thursday Feb 7
● Agreed on 2 minute intro and 1 minute questions/responses
● 5 candidates attending – William Joseph not attending
● Bill and Lynn will be timekeepers, need 3 more (1 for each candidate)
Block Director Updates
● General information about homes being sold, new neighbors and deaths was discussed.
● Of note :
Cheryl will take info regarding bad sprinklers to the Community Committee
Get ideas for plants in median to Cheryl
Loud noise reported in 14/1500 blocks – working with Sheriffs
Goodwill houses still a problem
Code enforcement - parking on grass and RVs
No electric in house on 1500 block

● Guest Speaker – Yolanda Robinson, March meeting
Code Enforcement – issues discussed, call Cheryl if there are further issues
IX. Good of the order
● Taste of Lake Worth – Feb 22, 2019, Costs are $25, will be sold at General Meeting Feb 11, still need 4 more volunteers
● Downtown Block Party – Our turn to host - Mar 8, need ideas to Cheryl
● Street Painting Festival - Feb 23/24, 2019
